The most natural Semi-permanent Make-up

Microblading Eyebrows in Dubai

"Your eyebrows are the frame of your face, and microblading is the art of framing them perfectly."

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing method used to make brows larger and more defined. The pigment is applied into the skin in small, hair-like strokes using a handheld tool with fine needles. The pigment is careful place to simulate the look of individual eyebrow hairs and is chosen to match the natural brow color. The end effect is a natural-looking, long-lasting brow enhancement.

Types of Microblading
  • Microblading: Microblading uses a handheld tool to deposit pigment into the skin, creating hair-like strokes that mimic natural eyebrow hairs.
  • Nanoblading: Nanoblading is a revolutionary brow treatment that use ultra-sharp nano needles to mimic the diameter and dimension of a real hair in the skin.
  • Microshading: The technician uses pigment ink and a handheld tool to apply small, pin-like dots across the brow area to fill in thin spots.
  • Combo Brows: Combo Brows is a type of permanent makeup (cosmetic tattoo) that combines the Microblading process with powder/shading.
  • Ombre or Powder brows: Permanent make-up treatment that inserts tiny dots of pigment into the skin using either a digital machine or a hand tool.

FAQ

How Microblading works?

plus-icoin

Microblading, also known as Eyebrow Embroidery, is a permanent cosmetics process that, unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, is less intrusive and considered semi-permanent. Microblading can last from 1-3 years, depending on your skin type and skincare habits.  Each 'hair' is carefully etched into the skin using a hand tool with super fine needles, giving an incredibly natural and realistic effect. Microblading can radically improve or completely reconstruct missing brows and is ideal for those who wish to enhance their brows or have little to no brows, thinning brows from aging, or over-tweezed brows. The pigments used are selected to match the natural or intended brow color, and skin tone is also taken into account.

How long does it take to heal?

After the procedure, the brow area will be slightly red and the color will appear very black. This is expected during the procedure and is part of the healing process. As it recovers, the color will fade by up to 40%. The brows will remain dark for several days, and you will see some scabbing. Picking at the scabs can harm the skin and the outcome of the microbladed area. As the wound heals, the color of the brows will lighten. There is no downtime following the microblading operation.  It takes 7-14 days for the brows to recover and around 1 month for the color to properly set in. Right after two weeks of recovery, you'll notice the color is very light; the skin will have an opaque milky appearance. This is known as milk skin, and it is commonly used in tattooing. This is because the tissue is still healing from the inside out, even after the skin's surface is healed. Once healed, the true color will emerge.

Can I get my touch up session sooner than 4 weeks?

Touch-up sessions should not be performed before 4 weeks following the original microblading session since the pigment color has not yet fully settled into the skin. Most importantly, this is to avoid scarring because the tissue takes time to heal entirely.

What are the pre and post care procedures?

It is recommended to follow the pre and post care guidelines to acquire the greatest results.

Clients are informed of the following before their procedure:

  • For 72 hours, avoid alcohol, aspirin/ibuprofen, and any vitamins that may thin your blood.
  • Avoid tanning to allow us to evaluate your natural skin tone.
  • At least two weeks prior, no face scrubbing or chemical peels.
  • Feel free to come in with their brow makeup on so our technician can view your preferred every day appearance. Reference photos of brow forms and tints are always appreciated. We'll then collaborate to design the perfect brows!

Following your procedure, consumers MUST follow the following instructions:

  • Clean brows with a q-tip and softly moisten with distilled or cooled down boiling water within 2 hours after the process. Wipe away the old healing balm as well as any lymphatic liquid (clear yellowish liquid) that has accumulated. Pat dry with a tissue and reapply healing balm to the brows with a new q-tip.
  • For at least 5-7 days, apply a little layer of healing balm to the brows morning and night.
  • Apply healing balm sparingly.
  • For 14 days, do not submerge the brow area in water. When showering, keep your face away from the water. When cleaning or washing your face, avoid cleaning between your brows and around them.
  • For at least 10 days, avoid applying makeup to the brow area. Because the microbladed area is an open wound, using cosmetics may result in infection.
  • For the next 24 hours, avoid alcohol, aspirin/ibuprofen, and any vitamins that may thin your blood.
  • As it heals, the brow area will feel somewhat scratchy and will begin to softly scab over. Peeling or picking at the scabs might have an effect on the result and pigmentation.
  • For at least 14 days, avoid swimming, sunbathing, and saunas.
  • No facial scrubs or chemical peels for at least two weeks.

Who is not suitable for the procedure?

Microblading is not appropriate for the following individuals:

  • Accutane Use
  • Have heart problems or take heart meds
  • Have diabetes (a doctor's note is required)
  • Have skin problems or irritations
  • Have had Botox in the last 2 weeks
  • Have you had a deep tan or chemical peel within the last two weeks
  • Lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine, or epinephrine allergies
  • Anyone with a serious medical condition may need a doctor's letter.
  • Microblading can be done on pregnant or breastfeeding clients at your discretion. We recommend that you first consult with your doctor. Microblading is still considered a tattoo, and like drinking alcohol or eating sushi, it is a personal choice to do so during this time period.

Risks and complications?

We use sterile equipment, new needles, and work in a clean environment to provide a safe session.  There should be few dangers or issues if clients follow our before and post care guidelines.  Although allergic reactions to the pigments are uncommon, they may occur in some people. We recommend a pigment patch test for anyone who have significant skin sensitivity or are allergic to:

  • Cosmetics for the face and body
  • Nickel, gold, and silver
  • Hair dyes
